Discover 1.0

Discover is a file sharing application. It allows you to transfer files to and from your iPhone/iPod Touch to iPhone or iPod Touch or Computer or MobileMe iDisk or a Discover Server. Discover is compatiable with Mac, Windows and Linux computers and with any Internet Browser or WebDAV client.

Use this picture and text to familize your self with the Discover Interface.
1. Hint Icon: This tells you if you are conected to a Wi-Fi network. (GREEN you are conected, RED you are not conected). Also if you click it when you are connected it will give you the URL to access Discover Via Browser or WebDAV client.
2. Files: In this area your files are displayed that are on your iPhone/iPod Touch. The various servers on your iPhone/iPod Touch are displayed there too. They are:
Private(If a password is set, the files in this server are protected by the owner.
Public(In this server the files can not be password protected and are viewable by anyone.
3. Home Button:When clicked this brings you back to the home screen. Which looks like the above image.
4. Nearby: When clicked this searches for nearby iPhones/iPod Touch. When one is found you can view and upload/download files on the other iPhone/iPod Touch.

5. Services:When clicked you are given the choice to add a MobileMe iDisk Server or a Discover Server. Details:
MobileMe iDisk Server: You need an existing MobileMe account. You need to enter you Username and Password.
Discover Server: You need to enter your IP Address and Port.

6. Settings:Various settings can be applied here. Such as Passwords and Preview settings.

7. Help:You are there right now.
8. Search:This is basically a Search Engine for you iPhone. You can search for a specific file.
