There's not much when it comes to using MusicTransport.
When you make or receive a call, the MusicTransport activation view appears, floating on the screen. The view stays active during a call and disappears when a call ends. You may drag the view around the screen to where it suits you best:Tapping the view opens the MusicTransport User Interface, with the following controls:
.
- Song Selection:
Song Selection buttons let you select a song/audio to broadcast to the other person in the current call, either from your Music Library or your recordings (native Voice Memos app).
- Scrubber:
The scrubber lets you move the audio playback to the selected time and shows you the total duration of the audio file being transmitted.
- Titles:
The titles show you the song's title and artist (if available) or the Voice Memo's information.
- Volume:
The volume slider lets you adjust the transmit volume of the current audio. Setting the volume too high (e.g. 100%) might make your voice sound faint to the other end. A volume of around 30-40% is best most of the times, depending on what you are transmitting. You may also make the other person think you are in a place with .e.g. loud music and by lowering the volume, you supposedly moved further away. :)
- Repeat:
The repeat button toggles repeat on or off. With repeat on, the selected audio will keep playing in a loop.
- Preview Audio Locally:
This button allows you to listen to what is being transmitted to the other end, on your own speaker , mixed along with the other person's voice, so you know what is being transmitted. It also helps if you want to sing over a song or maybe a karaoke song.
- Playback controls:
This area lets you start playing or pause the current song, or manually scrub ahead or back. The back/ahead buttons don't change to a... next song, they only scrub forward or backwards.
